Florence County 2032: Connecting Our Past, Defining Our Future

The Florence County Comprehensive Plan’s findings and recommendations focus on the physical and economic aspects of the County’s projected growth and development in the coming years. It provides guiding principles, goals, policies and action priorities that will help County elected and appointed officials and staff in determining the location, financing and sequencing of public improvements; administering development regulations; and guiding growth efforts. The Plan also provides a basis for coordinating the actions of many different functions and interests within and outside of County government. The plan was reviewed by the Florence County Planning Commission and appeared before Florence County Council for final adoption on February 16th, 2023.
